As part of the nationwide “Clean for the Queen” campaign FoWS volunteers will be picking litter in the streets around the station on Saturday morning (5th March).
If you would like to take part, please email friends@walkdenstation.org.uk by Wednesday so we can arrange the necessary number of pickers, gloves and bags to be provided by Salford City Council.
FoWS volunteers have been busy tidying up the flower beds and planting some new shrubs to replace damaged specimens … we hope you enjoy the improvements 🙂
