Reforming the Railways – a 1 day conference

March 10, 2012

With high fares and old, over-crowded trains, we all know the railways leave a lot of room for improvement, but successive governments have failed to find the cash and structure needed to solve the problem of how to run Britain’s railways.

For anyone interested in learning about possible solutions and future directions, the University of Huddersfield is hosting a 1-day “Reforming the Railways” conference on Friday 23 March.

The conference is not aimed at just railway professionals, but also academics, students, community groups, and other transport related organisations. The cost is £30 for voluntary organisations or students, £50 for public sector groups, and £60 for commercial organisations.

See the “Reforming the Railways” website for full details.
