Dive in to the Bridgewater Canal 250th Anniversary !

June 16, 2010
The Bridgewater Canal is 250 years old next year and local historians are forming plans to celebrate the occasion. They’re looking for local people to help gather “ideas, dreams and stories” at a series of meetings throughout the area during June. They are also interested in hearing from people with photographs of the canal.

The sessions take place at:

  • Fri 18th June, 5pm-6pm, Monton Village Hall
  • Sat 19th June, 10.30 am – 12 noon, Boothstown Community Centre
  • Mon 21st June, 10am-12 noon, Monton Village Hall
  • Tue 22nd June, 10.30 am – 12 noon and 6pm-7.30pm, Barton Methodist Church
  • Thu 24th June, 6pm-7.30pm, Worsley Methodist Church
